Golden Sands, 17 May – ACE HR Services’ Managing Partner Ekaterina Ignatova took part in the 8th International HR Conference organized by the Bulgarian Human Resources Management and Development Association (BHRMDA) under the motto “New to the EU: Sharing Practices in People Management”. All participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the newest theories and practices in HR management having in mind the inclusion of Bulgaria into the European Union.
Mrs Ignatova made a 30-minutes presentation called Traineeship Programs – A Fight for Talents. She stressed the fact that recently a quite smaller number of people apply for open positions and the employers are competing with each other for less appropriate candidates. The companies should pay attention not only on marketing and production, but also on recruitment, motivation, and retaining of employees.
A real answer to the current labor market changes is organizing traineeship programs that include assessment centers. They’ve proven to be a good practice which is often used in multinational companies, as well as in local Bulgarian companies. The internship gives employers the opportunity to hire the best students (even in their second year of study) and educate them in the organization’s culture.
Over 370 people from 159 organizations visited the conference. The guest lecturers Nigel Risner, Dennis O’Donnel, Ciprian Taraca, Dimitris Stefanidis, Ruxandra Stoian, Alexandra Nagels, Mike Kemball together with Bulgarian specialists – practitioners, teachers, and consultants made the conference exciting and on high professional level.
